Denise A. Lawn

Denise A. (Haas) Lawn, 71, of Indianapolis, passed away Thursday, November 23rd, 2023. She was born June 11th, 1952 in Indianapolis to her parents Robert E. Haas and Jeannine (Limp) Haas. Denise married Forrest "Frosty" E. Lawn on September 9, 1988.

Denise is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Frosty Lawn of Indianapolis; two children: Markena Reid (Kevin) of Brownsburg and Robert Ricketts (Desta) of Camby; step-son, Dustin Lawn (Megan) of Roachdale; seven grandchildren: Kelsey, Xander, Karli, Joshua, Emily, Kinsley, and Linkoln; four great-grandchildren: Aison, Eden, Arizona, and Eleanor; and one sister, Karen Pierce of Mooresville.

Denise is preceded in death by both of her parents.

Denise was a 1970 graduate of Decatur Central High School. She was a homemaker and raised Catholic. Denise enjoyed crossword puzzles, working in the yard planting her flowers, and spending time with her family. She was known by many to be a very honest and outspoken woman. Denise was also known for her love for chocolate candy.

Family and friends may show their love and support from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, November 27th at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Mortuary.
