DeeLee Elizabeth (Brandenburg) Northern, 67, of Cloverdale, passed away Thursday, October 8th, 2020. She was born January 16th, 1953 in Indianapolis to her parents James R. and Ruth E. (Knoll) Brandenburg. She married Maurice Northern on July 4th, 1987. DeeLee lived most of her life in Mooresville but most recently resided in Cloverdale for the past 15 years. DeeLee is survived by her husband of 33 years, Maurice Northern of Cloverdale; three brothers: Terry (Sharon) Brandenburg of Mooresville, Sam (Jeanna) Brandenburg of Martinsville, and Bobby (Carla) Brandenburg of Indianapolis; two sisters: Helen (Karl) Watkins of Indianapolis and Melody (Phil) Glover of New Palestine. DeeLee is preceded in death by both of her parents, James R. and Ruth E. (Knoll) Brandenburg; one daughter, Rebecca Brandenburg; four brothers: Raymond (Joe), James, Richard, and William Brandenburg; and one sister, Cindy Brandenburg. DeeLee was a Supervisor for the Indiana Department of Revenue for 22 years before retiring in 2016. She enjoyed attending garage sales, shopping at Walmart and gardening. DeeLee was very generous, kind and a loving woman. Family and friends may show their love and support from 11 am to 1 pm on Tuesday, October 13th at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. A celebration of life service will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, October 13th at the funeral home. DeeLee will be laid to rest at Mooresville Cemetery in Mooresville.
