Debra A. (Horton) Myler, 67, of Camby, passed away Saturday, March 19th, 2022. She was born February 6th, 1955 in New Castle, Indiana to her parents, Charles and Virginia (Gunkel) Horton. She was a resident of Mooresville for 12 years and a previous resident of Camby since 1983. Debra is survived by her daughter, Kerri (Chad) Slone of Martinsville; two grandsons: Tyler (Brittany) Slone of Indianapolis and Cooper Slone of Martinsville; her mother, Virginia Horton of Camby; one sister, Lori Piest of Illinois; three brothers: Mark, Gary, and Brian Horton; her life partner, Dave Stratton of Martinsville; and several nieces and nephews. Debra is preceded in death by her father, Charles Horton. Debra was a 1973 graduate of Mooresville High School and in 1999 graduated from Indiana University with her Associate's Degree. She was a Registered Nurse for I.U. Health Methodist Hospital for 20 years before retiring in 2021. Debra enjoyed being around her family and was known as the "glue" that kept them together. She loved hosting family get together's and parties. Spending time with her kids and grandkids, was where she was happiest. Family and friends may show their love and support from 12 pm (noon) to 1 pm on Wednesday, March 30th at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. A celebration of life service will be held at 1pm following visitation at the funeral home. Debra will be laid to rest at Floral Park Cemetery in Indianapolis.
