David Clarence Wrightsman

David Clarence Wrightsman, 66, of Mooresville, passed away Saturday, February 24th, 2024 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 4th, 1958 in Noblesville to Ralph Eugene and Alma Pauline (Lynn) Wrightsman.

David is survived by his mother, Alma Pauline (Lynn) Wrightsman; two children: Johnny Wrightsman of Georgia and Jenny Wrightsman (Doug Turbeville Sr.) of North Carolina; one brother, George Wrightsman of Mooresville; and one sister, Amy Walke (Ryan) of Crawfordsville; three grandchildren: D.J., Ethan, and Branson; and nephew, Joseph Wrightsman.

David is preceded in death by his father, Ralph Eugene Wrightsman; two brothers: Randy Wrightsman and Keith Wrightsman; two sisters: Shelia Revis and Donna Whitaker.

David was a 1977 graduate of Martinsville High School. Right after high school, he enlisted in the Army, where he proudly served for ten years. He was honorably discharged from the military in 1988. David attended New Life Baptist Church. He was an avid collector of odds and ends, including knives, lighters, flashlights and anything with wolves. The way he showed his love was by teasing others, especially the people he was closest to.

Family and friends may show their love and support from 10 am to 12 pm on Thursday, February 29th at Jones Family Mortuary, in Mooresville. A celebration of life will be held following the visitation at 12 pm on Thursday, February 29th at the Funeral Home. David will be laid to rest in Centerton Cemetery.
