David Shipley

David "Bodie" Shipley, 57, of Camby, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2014. David "Bodie" was born to Doyle and Pauline (Willoughby) Shipley on April 11, 1956 in Indianapolis. Bodie was a self-employed Heating and Cooling Technician for 10 years. He was past president of Mooresville Eagles Lodge. He was a member of Mooresville American Legion Auxillary #103 and Mooresville VFW Post 1111. He has lived in Camby for most of life. Bodie is survived by a daughter, Shannon Shipley; a son, Cody Shipley; two grandchildren, Haylee "Bug" & Eli Lumpkin; mother, Pauline "Bug" Shipley; a brother, Jeff Shipley; a sister, Kimberly Shipley and also several nieces and nephews. Bodie is preceded in death by his father, Doyle Shipley. Family and friends may attend calling hours from 5:30-7 p.m., Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at West Newton Worship & Youth Center, 7860 Mooresville Road, Camby, IN 46113. Pastor Tony Cannon will officiate the 7 p.m. celebration of life service on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at West Newton Worship & Youth Center.
