David Sherfick

David T. Sherfick, 40, of Mooresville, died Monday, February 4, 2008. He was born on July 21, 1967 in Indianapolis, IN to William and Karla Sherfick and they survive. David was a resident of Mooresville for 18 years and also lived in New Palestine for 22 years. He was a 1985 graduate of New Palestine High School and also attended the University of Indianapolis (formerly Indiana Central). He attended the First United Methodist Church; was a soccer coach for Mooresville High School Jr. Varsity Team and also had the pleasure of coaching his son on the Komets soccer team; he played soccer on scholarship for Indiana Central and also played soccer for Indy Sports Indoor Soccer League. Currently, he was a Captain for the Brown Township Fire Department. Previously, he was a Deputy Fire Marshal for White River Township Fire Department and also worked at Warren Township Fire Department which is where he started as a Fire Fighter. David is survived by his Son, Joel David Sherfick of Mooresville, IN; Parents, William J. and Karla L. Sherfick of Greenwood, IN; 1 Sister, Julie L. Sherfick of Greenwood, IN; and also a Special Friend, Leta I. Thompson of Mooresville, IN. Calling hours for David will be from 4-8pm, Thursday, February 7, 2008 at the First United Methodist Church in Mooresville, IN. The Funeral will be at 10am, Friday, February 8, 2008 at the Mooresville High School Auditorium in Mooresville, IN. David will be laid to rest at Washington Park East in Indianapolis, IN.
