With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of David Park, aged 86, who left this world on July 2, 2026. Born on November 23, 1939, to his parents Oliver Dick and Pluma (McCleerey) Park, David lived a life filled with passion and dedication.

A proud graduate of Emmanuel High School in 1957, he went on to carve out a successful career at General Motors, where he embodied the spirit of hard work and commitment to excellence for many years.

David was not just known for his professional life; he was a man of many interests and hobbies. His enthusiasm for golf was unmatched, making him a familiar and beloved presence on the greens. Those who had the pleasure of knowing him will remember his warm smile, gentle nature, and the joy he found in the game. Additionally, David had a knack for breathing life back into old trucks, embracing the artistry and craftsmanship that came with their restoration.

David's faith played a significant role in his life, and he found solace and community at Calvary Tabernacle, where he attended regularly. His connection to his friends and family was strong, and he cherished the relationships that enriched his journey.

He is survived by his nephews, David Park, David Park, Danny Park, and James Park; niece, Debbie Park; sister-in-law, Eula Park; and brother-in-law, Vernon Thomas. David will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him and will be remembered for his kindness and unwavering spirit.

David is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, James Park; and his sister, Dolores Thomas.
