Listen to Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the untimely passing of Darrian Skyler Ferrill, who left this world on July 2, 2026, at the age of 30. Born on July 1, 1996, in Indianapolis, to his parents Daryl and Angela Ferrill Jr., Darrian was a cherished member of his family and community, whose kindness and reserved nature touched the lives of all who knew him. He married Tiffany A. (Medsker) Ferrill on October 31, 2020.

A proud graduate of Decatur Central High School in 2015, Darrian dedicated over five years of his life to his work as a material handler at FedEx, where he was valued for his strong work ethic and camaraderie with his colleagues. Beyond his professional life, Darrian had a passion for the outdoors, particularly fishing, a love he inherited from his grandfather. Recently, he found joy in raising chickens, embracing new experiences and hobbies that brought him closer to the earth and his family. He was passionate about cooking and loved experimenting with a variety of cuisines and bold flavors, with a particular fondness for spicy foods.

Darrian was a devoted husband to Tiffany A. Ferrill, and a loving stepfather to Anthony Bartlett. His warmth and compassion extended to his parents, Daryl and Angela Ferrill Jr., his brothers Randy Ferrill and Michael Ferrill (Sam), and his grandmothers Judy Hanlin (Jeff) and Judy Ferrara, along with his step-grandmother Pam Turpin. He was also a cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his beloved grandfather, Bob Turpin, who held a special place in Darrian's heart.

Darrian's gentle spirit and unwavering love for his family will be profoundly missed. To honor his memory and say goodbye, family and friends are invited to a public visitation on July 10, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Jones Family Funeral and Cremation Service, in Mooresville. Following the visitation, Darrian will be respectfully cremated, and his spirit will remain forever in the hearts of those who loved him.
