Darrell Richardson

Richardson, 75, Camby, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2013. Darrell was born to Marion Richardson and Lillian (Pickett) Killion on October 8, 1938 in Ladoga. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force for 8 years. Darrell was an Air Traffic Controller for the Federal Aviation Administration in Indianapolis for 20 years, retiring in 1989. He was a member of the Mooresville Fraternal Order of Eagles and Mooresville American Legion. He enjoyed flying & camping. He has lived in Camby since 2005 and grew up in Battleground, IN. Darrell is survived by four children, Angie Richardson of Mooresville, Vicki Hampton of Plainfield, Monica (Kurt) Johnson of OK and Curtis Richardson of Martinsville; five grandchildren, Marisa, Emily & Shelby Hampton and Jordan & Sydney Johnson; a sister, Sherry Davis of Lafayette. Darrell is preceded in death by his parents, Marion Richardson & Lillian Killion and a brother, Dale Richardson. Family and friends may attend calling hours from 12-1 p.m., Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. There will be a 1 p.m. celebration of life service on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Jones Family Mortuary.
