Danny O'Neil Nunnally, 71, of Indianapolis passed away Friday, August 20th, 2021. He was born September 25th, 1949 to his parents, Earl and Dorothy (Ratliff) Nunnally in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. He married Brenda Sue (Mauck) Nunnally on October 24th, 1970 and lived in Indianapolis for most of his life.
Danny is survived by three children: Tina (James) Henderson of Franklin, Melissa (Michael) Smith of Paragon, and Jamie Nunnally of Tampa, FL; five grandchildren: Ray (Toni) Brown of Plainfield, Aaron Brown of Georgia, Gabriella Nunnally of Tampa, FL, Nicolas Nunnally of West Lafayette, and Alyssa Henderson of Franklin. Danny is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Brenda Sue (Mauck) Nunnally, and his brother, Gary Nunnally.
Danny was a 1968 graduate of Southport High School. He worked for 25 years as a shipping supervisor for Eli Lilly. Danny enjoyed painting, was an avid baseball fan especially for the St. Louis Cardinals, and woodworking and crafts. Most of all, Danny loved spending time with his grandkids.
Family and friends may show their love and support from 4 to 8 pm on Thursday, August 26th and from 10 to 11 am on Friday, August 27th at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. Pastor Phillip Parker will officiate the celebration of life service at 11 am on Friday, August 27th at the Funeral Home. Danny will be laid to rest next to his wife Brenda at White Lick Cemetery in Mooresville.
