Daniel A. Staten

Daniel A. "Beard" Staten, 31, of Camby, passed away Wednesday, October 5th, 2022. He was born December 7th, 1990 in Beech Grove to his parents, Gregory Staten and Carol (Kennedy) Summerlot. He was a resident of Camby for most of his life.

Daniel is survived by his mother, Carol Summerlot of Rushville; his father, Gregory Staten of Indianapolis; one brother, Mark Staten; two sisters: Tearsa Staten and Jennifer Summerlot; and grandparents: Harry and Carolyn Staten. Daniel is preceded in death by his grandparents: Robert and Josephine Kennedy.

Daniel was a Construction Worker in Indianapolis. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and anything outdoors. Daniel loved to target shoot. He also loved to spend time with family and would help anyone.

Family and friends may show their love and support from 1 to 2 pm on Thursday, October 13th at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. A celebration of life service will be held at 2 pm following visitation at the funeral home. Daniel will be laid to rest at West Newton Cemetery in West Newton.
