Cory Elza Allen, 24, of Greenwood, IN, died on Thursday, October 7, 2010. He was born on July 14, 1986 in Beech Grove, IN to Gregg Elza Allen and Nancy (Blankenship) Ewing, both of Greenwood, IN. For the past 4 years, Cory worked in lawn and landscape for Castle Lawncare in Greenwood, IN. He has lived most of his life in Greenwood, IN. He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. He is survived by his parents: Gregg Elza Allen and Nancy Ewing (Clark Kidwell), all of Greenwood, IN; 1 Brother, Nick Allen of Greenwood, IN; 1 Sister, Emily Ewing of Greenwood, IN; Grandparents: Bill & Thelma Blankenship of Indianapolis, IN and John and Opal Schaefer of Greenwood and several cousins. Calling will be from 2-6pm, Sunday, October 10, 2010 and 10-11am, Monday, October 11, 2010, all at Jones Family Mortuary. Charlie Cash will officiate the 11am funeral on Monday, October 11,2010 at Jones Family Mortuary.
