Clorine Stanley

Clorine Stanley, 84 years of age passed away Monday, September 28, 2009. She was born August 15, 1925 in Greenwood, IN to the late Edward and Clara (Shrout) Curtis. She married the late Vernon M. Stanley on August 16, 1943. She lived in Mooresville, IN for 45 years, Plainfield, IN for 5 years, and also in Greenwood, IN. Clorine was a 1943 Graduate of Midland High School (Jasonville, IN). She loved to travel and worked in real estate sales for Carriage Estates in Greenwood, IN for 12 years. Previously, she was an Avon Sales Lady for 12 years. Clorine is survived by 1 Daughter, Pat Rost of Mooresville, IN; 1 Son, Michael L. Stanley of Greenwood, IN; 4 Grandchildren: Shonda Romer, John and Jason Stanley, and Quinten Quathamer; 9 Great Grandchidren; and 1 Great Great Grandson. She is also preceded in death by 3 Brothers: James, Robert, and Ronnie Curtis. Calling hours for Clorine will be from 3-8pm, Thursday, October 1, 2009 and from 10-11am, Friday, October 2, 2009 at Jones Family Mortuary. George Watkins will officiate the service and Clorine will be laid to rest at Lincoln Memory Gardens in Lebanon, IN.
