Claudia Hanna

Claudia Rhea (Farley) Meadows Hanna, 86, of Bedford, went to be with the Lord on May 26, 2016. Claudia was born to Addison C. and Lizzie Ellen (Shrewsbury) Farley on August 30, 1929 in Rhodell, West Virginia.

Claudia was a Sterilization Technician for Bloomington Hospital for over 20 years. She loved her family and her K-9 companion, Willie. She enjoyed yardwork, crafts, sewing and painting.

Claudia is survived by four children: Darryl (Judy) Meadows of FL, Randall (Cristine) Meadows of Mooresville, Joann (Roger) Hearld of FL and Judy (Chuck) Lamar of Brownsburg; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, Larry Farley; and two sisters, Betty Cox and Freda Burton. She is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, George T. Meadows; and more recently by her second husband, Jack E. Hanna.

Family and friends may gather from 12-2 p.m. on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Pastor Billy Gott will officiate Claudia's celebration of life service at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Jones Family Mortuary. Claudia will be laid to rest in White Lick Cemetery, Mooresville.
