Claude E. Speck Jr., 77 passed away Friday, April 13, 2007. He was born March 16, 1930 in Flint, MI to the late Claude E. Speck Sr. and the late Glovenia (Weaver) Speck. He married his wife, Dorothy (Day) Speck on March 12, 1955. He lived in Monrovia for all of his life. He was the 1948 Valedictorian Graduate of Monrovia High School. He was in the Marine Corp. Veteran. He was the Foreman for Fred E. Beck Co. in Indianapolis, IN and retired in 1992 and was a member of the Monrovia United Methodist Church. Claude is survived by his Wife, Dorothy (Day) Speck of Monrovia, IN; 6 Children: Bruce (Terri) Speck of Monrovia, IN, Brian (Lola) Speck of Mooresville, IN, Claudia McGowan of Mooresville, IN, Bradley (Regina) Speck of Monrovia, IN, Carla (David) Cadwell of Clayton, IN, and Brent Speck of Monrovia, IN; 18 Grandchildren; and 9 Great Grandchildren. He is also preceded in death by 1 Sister, Donna Herzog Riser. Calling hours for Claude Jr. will be from 2-8pm, Wednesday, April 18, 2007 and the funeral will be at 10am, Thursday, April 19, 2007 both held at Jones Family Mortuary. Keith Parker will be officiating the service. Claude will be laid to rest at Mt. Pleasant in Hall, IN.
