Clarence William "Bill" Harrison Jr., 73 years of age passed away Thursday, July 23, 2009. He was born June 23, 1936 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Clarence William Harrison Sr. and Susie Mae (Workman) Harrison. He married the late Sharon Lynne (Short) Harrison on October 29, 1955. He was a lifetime resident of Indianapolis, IN and also was a Marine Corp Veteran. He enjoyed riding 4-wheelers with his grandsons, hunting, fishing, and singing; and when he was younger, he loved racing stock cars and dragsters. Before retiring in 1991, he was a Self-Employed Brick Mason for 35 years. Clarence William Bill Harrison Jr. is survived by 4 Children: Faron Harrison of Indianapolis, IN, Rodney Harrison of Camby, IN, Roxanna Soots of Indianapolis, IN, and Rhonda Kinnaird of Indianapolis, IN; 13 Grandchildren; 6 Great Grandchildren; and 3 Sisters: Dorothy Medford of TN, Vera Mann of Indianapolis, IN, and Sylvia Gooddall of Freedom, IN. He is also preceded in death by 5 Sisters: Betty Cassady, Wanda Recevur, Mary Palmer, Edna Wycoff, and Norma Maunel. Calling hours will be from 4-8pm, Monday, July 27, 2009 at Jones Crossing Banquet Center (right next to Jones Family Mortuary) and 1 hour before the service. The Funeral will be at 11:30am, Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at Jones Crossing Banquet Center with Bernard Bee to officiate. Clarence will be laid to rest at West Newton Cemetery.
