Clara Jo Gillin, age 76, died of natural causes at Johnson Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, July 12, 2006.
Clara with her Daughter established Gillin's Family Line Cafeteria on the Eastside of Indianapolis in 1980 to 1996 where she was known for her cooking and her sense of humor. She attended Camby Community Church and is survived by her husband, William (Bill); her brother Jack Baugh; her son Mike and his wife, Michelle; her daughter Jeanna West and her husband Mark; her son Ted Gillin and Kristi Suding along with seven grandchildren: Casey, Carney, Elizabeth, Quinn, Morgan, Lake, and Toby. She is further survived by her many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. In addition to her parents, Clyde and Adelene Baugh, she was preceded in death by her sister Anna Jean Pollard.
Funeral services for Clara Jo Gillin will be officiated by Pastor Charles Paxton at Jones Family Mortuary at 10am on Saturday, July 15, 2006. Calling hours will be on Friday, July 14, 2006 from 4pm to 9pm and on Saturday, July 15, 2006 from 9am til service at 10am. Graveside services will follow the funeral at West Newton Cemetery.
