Cheryl Lynn Meadows

Cheryl Lynn (Walker) Meadows, 74, of Indianapolis, passed away Saturday, September 23rd, 2023. She was born January 5th, 1949 in Indianapolis to her parents Howard and Venetia Helen (Armstrong) Walker. She married the late Gary Lee Meadows on October 1st, 1981.

Cheryl is survived by her two children: Jeffrey Beasley of Rockville and Stephanie Meadows of Indianapolis; five grandchildren: Mariah Edwards of Indianapolis, Jordan (Alisa) Beasley of Avon, Ali (Kaden) Cordeiro of Cloverdale, Claire Beasley of Brazil, and Hendrix Waldrop of Indianapolis; five great grandchildren: L.J., Kinsley, Bashy, Kailani, and D.J.and 3 nieces: Kari, Amie and Amanda.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Cheryl is preceded in death by her sister, Ellen Bordner and one brother in law, Clark Bordner.

Cheryl was a 1967 graduate of Decatur Central High School. Following high school Cheryl worked outside the home for just a short time as a secretary until Stephanie was born and then decided to stay home and care for the family. Cheryl loved spending time with all her grandchildren and nieces. Many knew Cheryl as a loving woman.

Family and friends may show their love and support from 4-8 pm, Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Jones Family Mortuary, 4165 East Allison Rd. Mooresville, IN 46158. Additional visitation will be from 9-10 am, Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at the Funeral Home with services following at 10 am. Cheryl will be laid to rest at Mt. Pleasant Greenwood Cemetery in Greenwood, Indiana.
