Cherie Jo Klawun

Cherie Jo (Eaton) Klawun, 58, of Mooresville, IN passed away peacefully in her home on January 2, 2024. Cherie was born on July 22, 1965 in Columbus, IN to Charles Norman Eaton and Carol Jean (Streeval) Stout. She married Evan Charles Klawun on June 1, 1985.

Cherie was a 1983 graduate of Decatur Central High School. She continued her education at Indiana State University obtaining her Associate Degree in Liberal Arts.

Cherie was a Senior Estimator for Belfor Property Restoration in Indianapolis for 12 years.

Cherie enjoyed gardening, traveling, canning vegetables but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Cherie was known for her huge heart and love for Children.

Cherie is survived by her husband, Evan Charles Klawun of Mooresville; three children: Andrew Klawun of Indianapolis, Stacie (Klawun) Smith (husband, Josh) and Aaron Klawun of Mooresville; two grandchildren: Joseph Klawun and Harper Jo Smith; four sisters: Cheryl Ward (husband, Steve) of Nashville, Indiana, Cindy Lynn Eaton of Mooresville, Angie McCrea (husband, Tony) of Colorado and Michelle Roderick of Colorado; three brothers: Chuckie Stout of Camby, J.J. Eaton of Colorado and C.V. Eaton ((wife, Wendy) of Florida.

Cherie is preceded in death by her parents, Carol and Chuck Stout.

Family and friends may show their love and support from 4-6 pm, Friday, January 12, 2024 at Jones Crossing Banquet Center, 4161 East Allison Rd. Mooresville, IN 46158, next to Jones Family Mortuary. The Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held following the gathering at 6 pm in the Banquet Center. Services are entrusted to Jones Family Mortuary.
