Charles Marchwinski

Charles R. Marchwinski, 76 years of age passed away Monday, August 17, 2009. He was born April 19, 1933 in Lyon Township, Michigan to the late Alex and Frances (Grott) Marchwinski. Charles married Betty (Wells) Garard of Mooresville, IN. Charles lived in Mooresville, IN for 1 year; N. Ft. Myers, FL for 19 years; and in Warren, MI for 56 years. He was also an Army Veteran. Charles was a member of the K of C in Detroit, MI; P.L.A.V in Warren, MI; Elks Club in Cape Coral, FL; Moose Lodge in Cape Coral, Fl; and the American Legion in Cape Coral, Fl. Before retiring in 1988, he was a Foreman for the City of Warren, MI Waste Water Treatment Plant for 30 years. He is survived by his Wife, Betty (Wells) Garard of Mooresville, IN; 3 Daughters: Mariyn Marrocco of FL, Nadine Militello of MI, and Eileen Schillio of NV; 7 Grandchildren; 9 Great Grandchildren; 2 Brothers, Alex Marchwinski of FL and Edward Marchwinski of MI; and 1 Sister, Patricia Brooks of MI. He is also preceded in death by 1 Son, Charles Marchwinski and First Wife, Barbara Jean (Anderson) Marchwinski. Calling hours for Charles will be from 6-7:30pm, Thursday, August 20, 2009 at Jones Family Mortuary. The Memorial Service will begin at 7:30pm, Thursday, August 20, 2009 at Jones Family Mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to "Society of Progressive Supranuclear Palsy".
