Charles W. "Chuck" Huntsman, 86, of Indianapolis, passed away Monday, March 18th, 2024. He was born February 21st, 1938, in Scottsville, Kentucky to his parents Arthur Bradie Huntsman and Hesterine (Minix) Weakly. He married Alberta (McKinney) Huntsman on August 31st, 1961. He was a resident of Indianapolis for most of his life.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Alberta Huntsman of Indianapolis; three sons: Matthew Huntsman (Michelle) of Indianapolis, Bryan Huntsman (Ann) of Indianapolis, and Rick Allen of Indianapolis; one daughter, Christina Borski (Mike) of Florida; nine grandchildren: Adrian, Nicole, Austyn, Hannah, Nathan, Ben, Ethan, Megan, and Mattie; and four great grandchildren: T.J., Brandon, Morrigan, and Blake. Chuck is preceded in death by both of his parents and one brother, Don Huntsman.
Chuck was a Truck Driver and Manager for Central Supply in Indianapolis for 40 years before retiring in 2000. In his early years he joined the United States Army. Chuck was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church. He enjoyed owning and working on classic cars, where he won several trophies at car shows. Chuck loved going camping and spending time with his grandchildren.
Family and friends may show their love and support from 4 to 8 pm on Thursday, March 21st and from 10 to 11 am on Friday, March 22nd at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 am on Friday, March 22nd following visitation at the funeral home. Chuck will be laid to rest at West Newton Cemetery in West Newton.
