Charles Dotson

Charles Wiley Dotson, 69, of Mooresville, Indiana went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center. He was born June 20, 1946 in Lafayette, TN to the late Charles Wert and Pauline Inez (Floyd) Dotson. He married Debra J. (Viles) Dotson on August 28, 1971. Charles was a Millwright at Chrysler Foundry for 34 years before retiring in 2005. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church and loved spending time with his family. Charles is survived by his wife, Debra; 4 children: Charles William Dotson of Mooresville, Debra Ann-Paulette Dotson of Camby, Gerald Raymond (Anna) Dotson of Mooresville and Terri Jacqueline (Harry) Harris of Mooresville; 9 grandchildren: McCauley, Madison, Charles, Wyatt, Harry, Noah, Garrett, Darren and Graham; 3 brothers: David, Owen and Mark Dotson; 2 sisters: Lena Bohall and Paula Dotson. Family and friends may gather 4 pm to 8 pm, Wednesday, July 1, 2015 and 11:45 am to 12:45 pm, Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Jones Crossing Banquet Center, next to Jones Family Mortuary. Prayer services will be held at 12:45 pm on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Jones Crossing Banquet Center. Fr. Francis Joseph will officiate the Mass of the Resurrection following the prayer service at 2 pm, Thursday, July 2, 2015 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
