Charles Beasley

Charles "Chuck" Beasley 75, lifetime resident of Indianapolis, passed away 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2005 in Indianapolis of natural causes. He was born April 1, 1930 in Indianapolis to the late Merritt & Ollie (Taylor) Beasley. On October 8, 1948 he married Dorothy (Merritt) Beasley who preceded him in death. He was a self-employed Carpenter for 60 years. He also worked security for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for 10 years. He was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church and Moose Lodge #500 in Speedway. He is survived by his three children, Beverly Gray of Logansport, IN, Donna Fultz of North Salem, IN and Larry Beasley of TX; five grandchildren & six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Ernest, John and Lester "Babe" Beasley; sister, Lois Beasley; and too many nieces & nephews to name, but loved and cherished just the same. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 14, 2005 at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville, IN with calling there 1 hour prior to service and 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, August 13, 2005. Betty Ann Garrett will officiate services. Burial will be in West Newton Cemetery, West Newton, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to Ruth Lilly Hospice, P.O. Box 1367, Indianapolis, IN 46202.
