Cecil Martin

Cecil Martin, 80, of Camby,IN died Tuesday, February 27, 2007. He was born on March 27, 1926 in Casey County, KY to the late Elza & Louranda (Wilham) Martin. He married Geneva (Wade) Martin on July 24, 1948 and she survives. He lived most of his life in Camby, IN, but did also live in Indianapolis, IN for 17 years. Before retiring in 1988, he was a Lacker Maker at Lilly Industrial Coatings in Indianapolis, IN for 40 years. He was a Navy World War II veteran. Survivors include a Spouse; Geneva (Wade) Martin of Camby, IN; 3 Children; Barry C. Martin of Greenwood, Joyce Ann Martin of Indianapolis, IN, Karen Sue Fields of New Whiteland, IN; 9 Grandchildren & 4 Great Grandchildren; 4 Siblings; Arthur Martin of Arkansas, Melvin Martin of Kentucky, Mable Hewett of Ohio & Mary Ann Goodette of Kentucky. He is preceded in death by 3 Brothers; Arnold, Archie & Reed Martin and 2 Sisters; Rosie Leathers and Jewell Martin. Calling hours will be from 1-3pm on Friday, March 2, 2007 before the 3pm Memorial Service at Jones Family Mortuary. Rev. John Young will conduct the Memorial Service.
