Carolyn Bell

Carolyn Jean (Rushing) Bell, 56, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2016. Carolyn was born to Eddie G. and Shirley J. (Curry) Rushing on May 23, 1960 in Rosieclare, IL. Carolyn married Kenneth Bell on April 2, 1983.

Carolyn was a Tax Analyst for Indiana Department of Revenue for 23 years. She loved spending time with her family. She lived in Indianapolis for 35 years and in her birthplace of Rosieclare, IL.

Carolyn is survived by a daughter, Levia (Ryan) Weidman of Indianapolis; a son, Kenneth (Courtney) Bell of Indianapolis; three grandchildren, Hailey, Tarah and Max; a brother, Glenn Rushing of KY; and two sisters, Doraleen Damrin of KY and Roseann Williams of KY. Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Family and friends may gather from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. on Friday, July 22, 2016 with John Schoolcraft officiating Carolyn's celebration of life service at 12 p.m. in Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Carolyn will be laid to rest in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
