Carol Jones

Carol Sue Jones, 55, of Plainfield, IN, died Thursday, November 24, 2005. She was born January 5, 1950 to the late Gilbert Herndon and to her mother, Mary (Holmes) Johnson. She is the widow of Joseph Jones Sr. Carol was a clerk for Child Support Division in Marion County for 4 years. Previously, she was a Linen Aid for Methodist Hospital for 6 years. She also attended the Danville Church of God. She is survived by 3 children: Joseph Jones Jr. of Plainfield, Janine Jones of Ohio, and Deborah Stoops of Ohio; 7 Grandchilren; Mother, Mary Johnson of Danville; 2 sisters, Ruth Hill of Bedford and Mariam Murphy of Danville; and 1 brother, Walter Herndon of Terre Haute. She was preceded in death by 1 grandson, Joseph Jones III. Visiting hours are 4-8pm, Monday, November 28, 2005 and the funeral is at 10am, Tuesday, November 29, 2005 both at Jones Family Mortuary. Joe Parr will be officiating the funeral service. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Danville Church of God.
