Carol Jones

Carol Sue Jones, 55, of Plainfield, IN, died November 24, 2005. She was born January 5, 1950 to the late Gilbert Herndon and her mother Mary (Holmes) Johnson. She was a widow to Joseph Jones Sr. She was formerly of Indianapolis for 19 years and Plainfield for 2 years. She was a clerk for Child Support Division in Marion County for 4 years. She was previously a Linen Aid for Methodist Hospital for 6 years. She also attended Danville Church of God. She is survived by 3 children: Joseph Jones Sr. of Plainfield, Janine Jones of Ohio, and Deborah Stoops of Ohio; 7 Grandchildren; her mother, Mary Johnson; 2 sisters, Ruth Hill of Bedford and Mariam Murphy of Danville; and her brother, Walter Herndon of Terre Haute. She was preceded in death by 1 grandson, Joseph Jones III. Visitation will be 4-8pm, Monday, November 28, 2005 and the funeral at 10am, Tuesday, November 29, 2005, both at Jones Family Mortuary. Joe Parr will be officiating the service. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Danville Church of God.
