Carney Brouse

Carney M. Brouse, 59, of Plainfield died on Wednesday, April 6, 2011. He was born in Belleville, Ill on August 25, 1951 to the late Orville H. "Pete" and Georganna G. (Schuck) Brouse. He married Pam J. (Rodebaugh) Brouse on May 16, 1998. Carney lived in Decatur Township for most of his life and in Plainfield for 13 years. He was currently a Financial Analyst for Primerica Financial in Indianapolis for 30 years, member of Camby Community Church, assistant high school football coach for 20 years with 12 of those at Decatur Central High School, member of Decatur Central High School Athletic Hall of Fame and an Associate Member of The Wild Bunch. Carney was a 1969 graduate of Decatur Central High School. He also attended Purdue University for two years, where he was a member of Delta Tau Delta. He is survived by his wife; 1 son, Jacob M. Brouse of Plainfield; step son, Justin Nelson of Plainfield; 2 brothers: Peter Brouse of Reelsville, IN and Devon Brouse of West Lafayette and 1 sister, Sunny Priddy of Indianapolis. Calling will be 2-7pm, Sunday, April 10, 2011 at Jones Crossing Banquet Center, next to Jones Family Mortuary and also 1 hour prior to the service. Funeral services will be at 10am, Monday, April 11, 2011 also at Jones Crossing Banquet Center with Charles Paxton officiating.
