Byron Smith

Byron "Keith" Smith, 68 years of age passed away Thursday, December 17, 2009. He was born November 11, 1941 in Terre Haute, IN to the late Russell E. and Virginia (Muehler) Smith. He married the late Kathryn J. (Cahill) Smith on June 18, 1971. He lived in Waverly, IN since 1971 and in Terry Haute, IN for 23 years. He was a 1959 Graduate from Otter Creek High School and also attended 1 year at Indiana State University. He was a Court Room Deputy of the Federal Court in Indianapolis, IN for 28 years and retired in 1994. He also loved gardening, hunting and fishing. Keith is survived by 2 Children, Jeff Smith of Indianapolis, IN and Ginny (Gary) Collins of Camby, IN; 2 Granddaughters, Katlyn and Karley Collins of Camby, IN; 4 Brothers: Russell Smith Jr. of Terre Haute, IN, Don Smith of GA, Carl Smith of Terry Haute, IN, and Dale Smith of Heritage Lake, IN. He is also preceded in death by 1 Son, Wade Smith. Calling hours for Keith will be from 5-7pm, Monday, December 21, 2009 at Jones Family Mortuary with the Memorial Service beginning at 7pm, Monday, December 21, 2009.
