Brian Dewitt Humphries

Brian Dewitt Humphries, 64, of Cloverdale, passed away Friday, December 29th, 2023. He was born February 13th, 1959 in Indianapolis to his father Terrance Humphries.

Brian is survived by five children; two grandchildren; and two siblings. Brian is preceded in death by his father, Terrance Humphries.

Brian was a 1977 graduate of Cloverdale High School. He later joined the United States Marine Corps and served during Vietnam. While serving he was a Helicopter Maintenance Mechanic and Diesel Mechanic. Brian was a Truck Driver for many years before joining the military. He was a gun lover and enjoyed gambling, fishing and anything outdoors. Brian was known by many to be an ornery jokester, but was also a caring man. He was a handyman and was always tinkering with anything that had an engine.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville.
