Brent Lee Robbins

Brent Lee Robbins, 61, of Mooresville, passed away Tuesday, September 19th, 2023. He was born October 8th, 1961 in Indianapolis to his parents Jesse Lee and Constance Lorraine (Lucas) Robbins. He married the love of his life, Shirley Ann (Thomas) Robbins on April 16th, 1988.

Brent is survived by his wife, Shirley Ann (Thomas) Robbins of Mooresville; one daughter, Jenna Robbins of Camby; three grandchildren: Aiden, Ashlynn, and Ariella; and several nieces and nephews. Brent is preceded in death by both of his parents; one son, Matthew Robbins; one sister, Rebecca Tidd; and one brother, Larry Robbins.

Brent was a 1980 graduate of Ben Davis High School. He later attended Ivy Tech Community College in Indianapolis getting a Certificate in Auto Body. Brent was a Custodian for Mooresville School Corporation. He previously worked for Wayne Township School Corporation as a Custodian for over 40 years. He previously attended Marwood Baptist Church in Indianapolis. Brent was a family man. Spending time with his family was one of his favorite things to do. Tending to his favorite red rose bush was another one of his favorite things, he was so proud of it. Gardening and yardwork was something he enjoyed. When he wasn't doing those two things, Brent loved to go to old car shows. Brent was a very loved man. His favorite thing to say was "Are You Kidding Me?" Brent also enjoyed watching TV Land, The Andy Griffith Show and All in the Family were some of his favorites. Those that knew Brent, knew that his favorite thing in the entire world was spending time with his dog, Pickle.

Family and friends may show their love and support from 5 to 6 pm on Monday, September 25th at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. A memorial service will be held at 6 pm following visitation at the funeral home. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville.
