Brenda Catron

Brenda Kay (Jenkins) Catron, 63, of Indianapolis, passed away Friday, May 10th, 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 12th, 1960 in Tennessee to her parents Willard F. and Barbara (Threet) Jenkins. She married the love of her life, Lawerence Ray Catron on March 2, 1979.

Brenda is survived by her three children: Christina Cox (Terry) of Indianapolis, Amanda Catron (Jeremy Ford) of Indianapolis, and Carrie Farrell (John Jr) of Mooresville; five grandchildren: Logan Manson (Kirsten Maldonado) of Indianapolis, McKenzie Catron of Greenwood, Kelsey Ford of Indianapolis, Jay Ford of Indianapolis, and Aaron Cox of Indianapolis; one great grandson Kingston Catron; sister Cindy Almond of Columbus; two brothers Bill and Steve Jenkins of Indianapolis and her mother-in-law Shirley Catron of Camby. Brenda is preceded in death by both her parents; husband Lawrence; son-in-law Jeremy Ford; and brother Rick Jenkins.

Brenda was a 1979 graduate of Mooresville High School. She was affiliated with Weslyn Holiness Church in Indianapolis. Brenda was a bookkeeper for corporate fleet management for 14 years from which she retired. She previously worked at Ponderosa in Mooresville for 18 years. Brenda was a hard worker. She was always there when her family needed her for anything. She enjoyed going to the casino with her husband. Brenda's favorite game was "Going Fishing" and she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Family and friends may show their love and support from 4 to 8pm on Friday, May 17th and 10 to 11 am on Saturday, May 18th at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. Pastor Steve Manley will officiate a celebration of life service that will be held at 11 am on Saturday, May 18th following visitation. Brenda will be laid to rest next to her husband, Lawrence at White Lick Cemetery in Mooresville.
