Bonnie Lou Hudson

Bonnie L. (Van Lannen) Hudson, 81, of Plainfield, passed away Friday, July 19th, 2024, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 30th, 1943, in Green Bay, Wisconsin to Clarence J. and Margaret H. (Lubenske) Van Lannen. She married Charles Lee Hudson on April 19, 1968.

Bonnie is survived by her two children: Charles R. Hudson (Michele) of Winnsboro, SC and Pamela "P.J." Wise (Corie) of Danville, IN; 9 grandchildren: Christi, Stacy, David, Samantha, Cameron, Maddi, Dallas, Sierra and Kaila.

Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Margaret Van Lannen; her husband, Charles Hudson; one daughter, Gina R. Brannon and two brothers: Lyle and Gene Van Lannen.

Bonnie was a selfless and loving caretaker of her family who were everything to her. She spent her time making crafts of all sorts but is known for her love of making and sending handmade cards to those she cherished in life. She was known to have a whimsical manner to those who knew her. Bonnie was a 1961 graduate of Gerstmeyer High school in Terre Haute, Indiana. She was a member of the Mooresville VFW Post# 1111 Ladies Auxiliary and the Mooresville American Legion Post# 103 Ladies Auxiliary.

Friends and family may show their love and support on Sunday, July 21, 2024, from 2:00-5:00pm at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville.
