Bobbie Joe Walker

Bobbie Joe "Bumper" Walker Jr, 51, of Greenwood, passed away Friday, August 21st, 2020. He was born May 31st, 1969 in Kirkwood, Missouri to his parents, Bobbie Joe and Wilda Ann (Rice) Walker Sr, where he lived for 3 years. He married Karen Renea (England) Walker on October 31st, 2003. Bobbie was a resident of Indianapolis for most of his life and most recently resided in Greenwood since 2005. Bobbie is survived by his loving wife of nearly 17 years, Karen Renea (England) Walker of Greenwood; one son, Brady Walker; one daughter, Khloie Walker; one sister, Sherri (Rodd) Dodd; In-laws: Thomas and Freida England; Sister in-law, Julie (Hermon) Silcox; Brothers in-law: David and Marshall Bryant; Nieces and Nephews: Quinton, Katie, Karlie, Megan, Morgan, Wesley, Evan and Carson; Uncle Dickie (Sharon) Walker; Uncle Eddie (Connie) Walker; and several cousins. Bobbie is preceded in death by both of his parents; and his uncle James Eugene Walker. Bobbie was a 1987 graduate of Perry Meridian High School in Indianapolis. He was the owner of Creative Enterprises in Indianapolis for 30 years. He enjoyed coaching sports including his son, Brady in football and baseball along with his daughter, Khloie in softball and basketball. Bobbie was well known for his carpentry skill and being an avid sports fan. He loved the Colts, Cardinals, Florida Gators, IU basketball and Center Grove sports. Bobbie was an outdoors-man and a Jokester. Family and friends may show their love and support from 1 to 4 pm on Sunday, August 30th at Southern Dunes Golf Course, 8220 S Tibbs Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46217. Julia Dahl will lead the celebration of life service to follow visitation at 4 pm at Southern Dunes Golf Course. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville.
