Beverly Jean Dietrich

Beverly Jean "Jeanie" (Bullock) Dietrich, 78, of Martinsville, passed away Monday, June 5th, 2023. She was born April 7th, 1945 in Indianapolis to her parents James Smith and Margaret Marie (Oliver) Bullock. She was married to the late Harold Edward Dietrich on September 15th, 1960. She was a resident of Indianapolis for most of her life and most recently Martinsville for the last 20 years.

Jeanie is survived by her two sons: Harold Edward Dietrich Jr. of Greenwood and Darin Eugene Dietrich of Martinsville; two sisters: Barbara Ann Dreflak of Hawaii and Robin Marie Ashman of Indianapolis; nine grandchildren: Nastassia (Dietrich) Ramsey of Indianapolis, Bronson James Dietrich of Mooresville, Ashley Rae (Dietrich) Wissel of Martinsville, Charlton Zeis Dietrich of Greenwood, Casey Jean Dietrich Knox of Martinsville, Otto Tate Ryan Dietrich of Mooresville, Owen Tyler Reed Dietrich of Greenwood, Olivia Taylor Ray Dietrich of Mooresville, and Darin Nicole Dietrich of Martinsville; and 10 great grandchildren. Jeanie is preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband, Harold Edward Dietrich; two brothers: James Frederick "Freddie" and Rodney Bullock.

Jeanie attended Southport High School. She was a Manager for several restaurants and Village Pantry. Jeanie was a long time member Maple Grove Baptist Church in Plainfield and Waverly Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday School Teacher. Jeanie was a member of Mooresville VFW Post #1111. She loved her family dearly and was known by many as a woman who was always forgiving and loved fiercely.

Family and friends may show their love and support from 10 am to 12 pm on Friday, June 9th at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. A celebration of life service will be held at 12 pm following visitation at the funeral home. Jeanie will be laid to rest at Nebo Memorial Park Cemetery in Martinsville.
