Betty Rush

Betty A. (Brown) Rush, 76, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away peacefully on March 4, 2018. She was born on July 23, 1941 to Cordis and Elsie Brown in Indianapolis. She married Lloyd E. Rush on October 6, 1961.

Betty was a homemaker and also was a housekeeper at Altenheim in Indianapolis for 17 years. She enjoyed couponing and shopping. She lived in Indianapolis all of her life.

Betty is survived by three loving grandchildren, Lloyd (Nikole) Rush of Greenwood, April (Gary) Rohl of Greenwood and Krystal Rush of Greenwood; three great-grandchildren, Isaac, Janna and Kinslee. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers; two sons, Jeffrey and David Rush; and a granddaughter, Carrie Rush McCloud.

Family and friends may gather to pay their respects from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 in Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Betty will be laid to rest in a 1:30 p.m. graveside service on Wednesday, March 7th in West Newton Cemetery.
