Betty Coop

Betty Jean Coop, 82 of Indianapolis, IN passed away Saturday, December 6, 2008. She was born April 9, 1926 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Dora M. and Bertha L. (Myers) Reynolds. She married the late Quentin C. Coop. She has lived in Indianapolis, IN for all of her life. She was a member of the Indianapolis VFW Ladies Auxiillary and West Newton Order of the Eastern Star. Betty was a factory worker for Thiesing Veneer in Mooresville, IN for several years. Previously, she was an owner and beautician of Betty Jean's Beauty Shop in Indianapolis, IN for 40 years. She is survived by 1 Daughter, Patricia Mendenhall of Indianapolis, IN; 3 Grandchildren: Michael, John, and Denise; and 1 Great Granddaughter. Calling hours for Betty will be from 2-6pm, Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at Jones Family Mortuary. The funeral will be at 11am, Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at Jones Family Mortuary. She will be laid to rest at West Newton Cemetery.
