Betty Browning

Betty M. Browning, 83 of Camby, IN passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2007. She was born December 2, 1923 in Elnora, IN to the late Homer Overton and the late Maude (Garten) Overton. Betty married the late Robert D. Browning on September 30, 1942. Betty has lived in Camby, IN for most of her life and was a member of the Camby Community Church. She was a 50 year Member of the West Newton Order of the Eastern Star, Life Member of Mooresville VFW Ladies Auxillary Post 1111, American Legion Auxillary Post 0497, and the Women of the Moose Lodge #518 in Speedway.Betty was also a Homemaker. Betty is survived by 1 Daughter, Sondra Chapman of Camby, IN; 1 Son, Gary Browning of Camby, IN; 8 Grandchildren; and 10 Great Grandchildren. Betty is also preceded in death by 1 Son, Larry "Joe" Browning; 5 Sisters: Infants, Dorothy and Betty Mae Overton, Lucille Overton, Ruth Seneff and Mary Rodriquez; 5 Brothers: Bob, Harold, Gene, Hooker and Duke Overton. Calling hours for Betty will be from 4-8pm, Thursday, October 18, 2007 with the funeral beginning at 2pm, Friday, October 19. 2007. Charles Paxton will be officiating the service and Betty will be laid to rest at Fairfield Cemetery.
