Bessie David

Bessie Janette David, 67 of Mooresville, IN passed away Sunday, December 7, 2008. She was born January 3, 1941 in Morgantown, IN to the late Charles and Bessie (Earles) Merriman. She has lived in Mooresville, IN for 30 years and in Indianapolis, IN for 3 years. Bessie volunteered at the Indianapolis Civic Theatur for several years and loved to sing, sew, and do all kinds of crafts. Before retiring in 1989, she was a Shuttle Bus Driver for Indianapolis Airport for 15 years. Previously, she worked as a Nurse's Assistant for 10 years and a Respiratory Therapist for several years in Arizona. Bessie is survived by 4 Children: Suzie Davie of Ocklawaha, FL, Linda Russell of Mooresville, IN, Jacquiline Hardwick of Waverly, IN, and John David of Mooresville, IN; 1 Step Son, Rick David of Atlanta, GA; 16 Grandchildren; Several Great Grandchildren; and 4 Sisters: Charlotte Stone of Arizona, Carolyn Turner of Mooresville, IN, Edith Wright of Mooresville, IN, and Linda McKinney of Arizona. She is also Preceded in death by 2 Brothers, Charles Eugene Merriman and Danny Merriman. There will be a Memorial Service for Bessie at 12noon, Saturday, December 13, 2008 at the New Life in Christ Church (40 E. Washington St. Mooresville, IN, 46158. Phone: 317-831-3561).
