Bernice Wright

Bernice Louise Wright, 83 of Monrovia, IN passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2006. She was born in Illinois May 19, 1923 to the late Hazel Lockheart and Ruby (Ballard) Lockheart. She married Val Wright of Monrovia, IN on June 22, 1940. Bernice has lived in Monrovia for 30 years, Indianapolis for 15 years, and in Illinois for 30 years. She was a member of the Monrovia Christian Church and she was also a Homemaker. Bernice is survived by her Husband, Val Wright of Monrovia, IN; Son, Jack Eugene Wright of Illinois; Daughter, Valerie Jean Eldridge of Monrovia,IN; Daughter, Barbara L. Hurst of VA; and 12 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren. She is also preceded in death by a Daughter, Myrna Kay Tatum. Calling hours will be from 4-8pm, Thursday, December 7, 2006 and the funeral will be at 10am, Friday, December 8, 2006 both at Jones Family Mortuary. Kurt Alexander will be officiating the service. Bernice will be laid to rest at Lincoln Memory Gardens in Whitestown, IN. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Monrovia Christian Church.
