Benjamin T. Gerholdt Sr., 76 of Mooresville, IN passed away Thursday, May 1, 2008. He was born January 7, 1932 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Claude J. Gerholdt and the late Edith L. (Tomlin) White. He married Elizabeth (Stone) Gerholdt Sr. on December 9, 1955. Benjamin has lived in Mooresville, IN for most of his life. He was a Army Veteran Sgt. (T) in the Korean War and before retiring in 1993, he was a laborer for Rexnord in Indianapolis, IN for 35 years. Benjamin is survived by his Wife, Elizabeth (Stone) Gerholdt Sr. of Mooresville, IN; 6 Children: Earl (Sabrina) Gerholdt of Anderson, IN, Lloyd (Barbara) Gerholdt of Mooresville, IN, Floyd (Dawn) Gerholdt of Gosport, IN, John Gerholdt of Mooresville, IN, Lory (Kinnie Lawless) Eastridge of Mooresville, IN, and Peggy Hogston of Mooresville, IN; 16 Grandchildren; 14 Great Great Grandchildren; 4 Brothers: Willis, Jessie, Jr., and Tommy; 2 Sisters, Anabelle and Pat. She is also preceded in death by 1 Son, Benjamin Gerholdt Jr. Calling hours for Benjamin will be from 2-7pm, Sunday, May 4, 2008 with the funeral at 10am, Monday, May 5, 2008 both held at Jones Family Mortuary. Chris Amonett will officiate the service and Benjamin will be laid to rest at Floral Park Cemetery in Indianapolis, IN.
