Barbara Requenes

Barbara (Thompson) Requenes, 60, Camby, IN, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 29, 2020. She was born in Indianapolis on October 4, 1959 to the late William James and Marie Elizabeth (Millhorn) Thompson. Barbara was a lifelong resident of the Indianapolis area. She was currently an Executive Administrative Assistant for Lowe's in Indianapolis for 4 years and previously a Legal Assistant for Bose, McKinney and Evans Law Firm. She was a member of both the Moose Lodge #1883 and American Legion #64. She enjoyed dancing, playing darts, camping and all things with her family. Barbara is survived by her 2 children: Tiffany Thompson of Camby and Damien Blakley of Camby; 4 grandchildren: Brayden Holt, Ty Holt, Aleyah Blakley and Jordan Howard; brother, Jerry Thompson; 2 sisters: Mary Katherine Whitaker and Maggie Lawless. She is preceded in death by her parents. There will be a celebration of life memorial gathering for Barbara on Sunday, April 19, 2020 at the Beech Grove Moose Lodge, 3320 South Emerson Ave, Beech Grove, IN 46107. From 1 to 1:30 p.m. Tiffany will share some words and will open it up for others to share, from 1:30 to 3 p.m. there will be a D.J. along with additional sharing, from 3 to 5 p.m. there will be a band and from 2 to 4 p.m. food will be served.
