Barbara Sue Jones

Barbara Sue (Sturgeon) Jones, 71, of Martinsville and previously of Greenwood, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2023. Barbara was born in Indianapolis to the late Harold and Gladys (Williams) Sturgeon on July 11, 1951. She married Paul Edward "Ed" Jones on November 11, 1989.

Barbara was a 1970 Graduate of Southport High School. She worked for GM for 16 years before retiring. Following retirement she went and worked as a florist. Barbara was a Reiki Master and Reflexologist. She was a loving and strong willed woman.

Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Paul Edward "Ed" Jones; three girls: Stephanie (Larry) Decker of Greenwood, Christina (Richard) Swain of Mooresville and Kimberly (Gary) Stanich of Plainfield; five grandchildren: Ricky, Jacob, Brittanie, Skyler and Izzy; three great grandchildren: Laken, Nolan and Arthur.

Family and friends may show their love and support during a memorial gathering from 4-8 pm, Monday, February 13th at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Cremation and final arrangements entrusted to Jones Family Mortuary.

Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society.
