Barbara Jenkins

Barbara N. Jenkins, 70 years of age passed away Monday, July 20, 2009. She was born August 5, 1938 in Clinton, Tennessee to the late Curtis Threet and the late Thora (Landers) Barnes. Barbara married the late Willard F. Jenkins on August 25, 1956. She lived in Clinton, Tennessee for 18 years and most of her life in Camby, IN. She was also a Homemaker and was a member of the Plainfield Holiness Church. Barbara is survived by 4 Children: Bill Jenkins of Camby, IN, Brenda K. Catron of Indianapolis, IN, Steven W. Jenkins of North Vernon, IN, and Cynthia L. Allmond of Columbus, IN; 1 Brother, Alvin Barnes Jr. of West Newton, IN; 1 Sister, Carylon Glassburn of Camby, IN; 3 Grandchildren; and 3 Great Grandchildren. She is also preceded in death by 1 Son, Richard Jenkins. Calling hours for Barbara will be from 4-8pm, Thursday, July 23, 2009 at Jones Family Mortuary and 1 hour prior to the service on Friday. The Funeral will be at 10am, Friday, July 24, 2009 at Jones Family Mortuary. Lonny Dunn will officiate the service and Barbara will be laid to rest at White Lick Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
