Barbara Crawley

Barbara Joan Crawley, 81, Indianapolis, went to be with the Lord on Feb. 8, 2015. Barbara was born on Apr. 5, 1933 in Indianapolis. Barbara graduated from Howe High School in 1951. Barbara married Eugene P. Crawley on June 28, 1951. Barbara was a Homemaker. She was a member of Fairfield Friends Meeting and attended Camby Community Church for the past 10 years. She loved treasure hunting and fishing. Barbara is survived by her husband of 63 years, Eugene Crawley of Indianapolis; a son, David (Linda) Crawley of Indianapolis; two grandchildren, Jennifer Gates and Matthew Crawley; three great grandchildren and one step great grandchild. Barbara is preceded in death by her foster parents, Frank & Violet Derry, three sisters and one brother. Family and Friends may gather from 4-8 p.m., Feb. 10, 2015 and 10-11 a.m., Feb. 11, 2015 at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Pastor Charles Paxton will officiate the 11 a.m. celebration of life service on Feb. 11, 2015 at Jones Family Mortuary. Barbara will be laid to rest in Fairfield Cemetery.
