Arthur Ray Mundy

Arthur Ray Mundy, 89, of Mooresville, passed away Thursday, April 13th, 2023. He was born April 12th, 1934 in Mitchell, Indiana to his parents Beryl and Mary Frances (Bocock) Mundy.

Arthur is survived by his four children: Michael R. (Tina) Mundy, Mark R. (Quita Prince) Mundy, Adrianne "Rae" (Jeff) Floyd, and Shannon R. (James) Purdie; 9 grandchildren: Michelle R. McMahon, Rachel A. Sneed, Matthew R. Mundy, Trent M. Mundy, Levi J. Floyd, Lucas J. Floyd, Elijah W. Hamilton, Jesse K. Prince, and Zachary L. Prince; six great grandchildren: Ella McMahon, Kate McMahon, Emery Sneed, Taylor Sneed, Finn Sneed, and Kessa Prince; and one sister, Helen L. Sowers. Arthur is preceded in death by both of his parents; one grandson, Troy E. Hamilton; one brother, Jimmie L. Mundy; and one sister, Charlotte Ann Lehr.

Arthur worked for Olin Brass as a Material Handler for 30 years before retiring. He was a member of Mooresville VFW #1111 and American Legion #103. Arthur enjoyed tinkering working on his tractor and cutting his grass. He was a self sufficient hard working man.

A graveside services with military rites will be held at 1pm on Friday, April 21st at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Hall, Indiana. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville.
