Anna R. Twomey

Anna R. (Phillips) Twomey, 66, of Danville, passed away Tuesday, August 18th, 2020. She was born November 1st, 1953 to her parents James and Rachel (Sawyer) Phillips. She married James "Jimmy" Twomey. She lived in Mooresville for most of her life but was a resident of Danville since 2015. Anna is survived by her daughter, Lisa Galbreath of Mooresville; and three grandchildren: Taylor Medenwald, Julia Medenwald and Jade Cline. Anna is preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband, James "Jimmy" Twomey; and two sons, Ralph Galbreath and Chad Phillips. Anna enjoyed spending time with her husband, Jimmy who passed away in 2015. She also enjoyed spending time with her neighbors and cracking jokes. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 pm on Monday, August 24th at Shumaker Cemetery in Quincy where Anna will be laid to rest next to her late husband. Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville.
