Angelo Shepherd

Angelo B. Shepherd, 75 of Mooresville, IN passed away Friday, October 5, 2007. He was born October 12, 1931 in Russell Springs, KY to the late Asa B. Shepherd and the late Cora A. (Abrell) Shepherd. He married Minnie Yvonne (Murray) Shepherd on February 4, 1955. Angelo has lived in Mooresville since 1969 and in Indianapolis for 10 years. He served as an Army CPL (T) and was a Veteran of the Korean War. Before retiring in 1988, he was a Pipe Fitter for Eli Lilly in Indianapolis, IN for 25 years. Angelo is survived by his wife, Minnie Yvonne (Murray) Shepherd of Mooresville, IN; 4 Daughters: Rhonda Shepherd of Mooresville, IN, Linda (Rusty) Whitman of Mooresville, IN, Shirley (Andy) Haynes of Morgantown, IN, and Brenda (Paul) Lake of Petersburg, IN; 9 Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren; 2 Sisters, Susan Hudson of Indianapolis, IN and Flora Hovis of Arkansas. He is also preceded in death by 2 Brothers, Pascal and James Shepherd; 2 Sisters, Ruby Moore and Nannie Bolton; and also 2 Infant Sons. There will be calling hours for Angelo from 2-7pm, Sunday, October 7, 2007 and the funeral will be at 10am, Monday, October 8, 2007 both held at Jones Family Mortuary. Rev. Andy Haynes will be officiating the service and Angelo will be laid to rest at White Lick Cemetery.
