Amy Jenness Brown Aguayo, 27, of Indianapolis, went to be with the Lord with family and friends by her side on May 25, 2014 after a three year battle with cancer. Amy was born to Tony and Marianne (Smith) Brown on October 4, 1986 in Indianapolis. Amy graduated from Decatur Central High School in 2005 and received her Bachelors Degree from IUPUI in 2010. Amy married Justin J. Aguayo on September 21, 2013. Amy was an Elementary School Teacher at Fall Creek Academy in Indianapolis for one year. She had a true passion for children, always caring for others and putting family and friends before herself. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Christian Chruch. She also enjoyed planning events, allowing her creativity and artistic ability to shine through each extravagant detail. She also enjoyed traveling and softball. She has lived in Indianapolis all of her life. Amy is survived by her husband, Justin J. Aguayo; daughter, Olivia Aguayo; parents, Tony and Marianne Brown, all of Indianapolis; a brother, Jake Holt of Fountaintown; grandmothers, Carol (Adamson) Smith, Sue Smith, both of Indianapolis and Janie Brown of Advance. Family and friends may attend calling hours from 2-8 p.m., Wednesday, May 28, 2014 and 9-10 a.m., Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Jones Crossing Banquet Center, next door to Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Pastor Chris Philbeck will officiate the 10 a.m. celebration of life service on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Jones Crossing Banquet Center. Amy will be laid to rest in West Newton Cemetery.
