Alvin Mcmann

Alvin L. McMann, 73, of Mooresville, IN, died on August 1, 2011. Alvin was born to Albert McMann & Mildred (Martin) Venza on June 17, 1938 in Speedway, IN. He is married to Debra A. (Alvey) McMann. Before retiring in 1999, he was a Machinest for B.E. Aerospace in Delray Beach, FL for 25 years. He was also a Mechanic for several years. He was a Army Veteran. He was a member of the VFW in Delray Beach, FL. He has lived in Mooresville, IN since 1999. He lived in Florida for 37 years and his birthplace of Speedway, IN for 18 years. He restored old cars. He loved muscle cars. He enjoyed playing guitar. He was always an outgoing, laughing person. He never met a stranger and considered everyone a friend. He is survived by his wife, Debra A. (Alvey) McMann of Mooresville,IN; 1 daughter, Diana Jane(Roy) Klinger of Mooresville, IN; 3 sons, Michael McMann of FL, Timothy McMann of Greencastle, IN and Tony McMann of Avon, IN; 5 grandchildren; 1 brother, Frank Venza; & his special K-9 companions, Skippy & Max. Alvin is preceded in death by his parents, Albert McMann and Mildred (Martin) Venza; and a brother, Jerry McMann. Calling will be from 4-8pm, Thursday, August 4, 2011 and 3:30-4:30pm, Friday, August 5, 2011 at Jones Family Mortuary. There will be a 4:30pm funeral service on Friday, August 5, 2011 at Jones Family Mortuary.
